I Lost My Maybankard!!
Yesterday at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport I wanted to cash out some money from my Maybank account at the ATM and I didn’t find my Maybankard nestled nicely in my purse, like normal, like it usually does. So I panicked. I stepped away from the line, got myself a seat nearby and searched my huge Segue bag for it, turned everything out, upside down and found nothing. Oh dear.

So there was I-hungry, sad over the imagination of KFC fading away in speed, helplessly turning things in my bag, hoping to find something that I knew wasn’t there already. Honey came and I asked some money from him. He just did a full aircond service on a Myvi at Putatan and I know he sure had a lot of money that time. xD So I asked for him to lend me some RM200. Borrow of course. =)
He gave me RM300 instead! xD So off me saying my goodbyes to Mommy, sad over the thought of my inability to give her some money before I leave Kota Kinabalu and headed straight to KFC on the first floor.
I saw Abner, my long lost tuition friend who was on the phone when I cued at the ATM. He was on the phone so didn’t get to chat with him.
Had KFC until 6.10pm (my flight was 6.30pm) and saw ‘Final Call’ over my flight’s line on the message board over my head. xD Quickly finished my rice and that crispy spicy chicken, headed back down to the security checkpoint. Hugged hun goodbye and reassured him that I’ll be fine with the RM300 he gave me (paycheck is coming by the way and I’ll soon get my Maybankard replaced on Monday, today).
So off I went, to Gate 4, boarded the airplane and got to my 29C seat.

Arrived at LCCT (Low Cost Carrier Terminal) at 9.04pm. Got my luggage and it was already 9.30pm-ish. Got a cab and paid about RM84 for it to go to Klang.
Abner text me around 10.30pm saying he just got at the airport. His flight was 7.30pm. I think his flight was fast man. Normally it’s 2 hours 30 minutes, more or less. Awesome pilot la his one that. xD
Got back home around 9.50pm, washed my clothes, couldn’t find my DiGi broadband so asked honey to help me check my Maybank account’s transactions. He told me the balance of my account and was relieved. =) I think I just misplaced it somewhere at home or maybe a stranger actually got hold of my card but hasn’t used it. Whichever it was, I can no longer use the card and looking for it would be a waste of my time. =)
So now, soon, I’ll be going to nearest Maybank branch which is the one at Wisma Genting, Kuala Lumpur and replace my card. The operator who terminated my lost Maybankard told me that the fee for replacement would be RM12. Lucky not RM50 or what. xD
So lesson learned would be always keep your card, especially ATM card with you and make sure it’s existance in your wallet/purse at all times. xD
